LACROSSE, Wis. – Community activist Keonte Turner, who once ran for City Council, has been cited for solicitation of a prostitute. Television station WKBT reported the arrest, which was May 10. Police did not relay information on the arrest to news media at the time. Meanwhile, Turner is free on his is recognizance pending a court appearance June 9. Turner works at the La Crosse Family YMCA. He is a member of the County Criminal Justice Management Council. Earlier he was a La Crosse School board member.
