ROCHESTER, Minn. — One man was killed and another seriously wounded in an overnight shooting in the St. Marys hospital neighborhood near downtown. The victims were identified by police as a 28-year-old man, who died at the scene, and a 28-year-old man, who was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The shootings, about 2:30 a.m., were witnessed by an on-duty police officer who ran after one of the shooters and apprehended him after a brief chase. A second man was apprehensded by other officers soon thereafter. The incident was at  First Avenue Southwest and Third Street. Southwest.
