WINONA, Minn. – Gun-shy after being overruled on a mask mandate in August, Mayor Scott Sherman is sitting out the new CoVid spike. Sherman noted in a KWNO interview that the city does not have a health department. As such, he said, public health mandates should come from the county or state. Federal and state data show Winona County currently with a high transmission rate. Sherman\’s response: Wear a N-95 or KN-95 mask in public indoor settings.
