WINONA, Minn. – Mayor Scott Sherman told City Council members there was no urgency about replacing Steve Sari as city manager. It can wait a couple months, the mayor said. A priority, he said, is getting a new city budget together by the end of the year. Sherman said he was confident that the assistant city manager, Chad Urbl, will do well in helping Council through the current situation as acting city manager. Right now, Sherman said, let’s get a city budget together and close out the year.
