WINONA, Minn. – Large off-campus college parties won’t be tolerated, Mayor Mark Peterson said after a weekend of large gatherings in defiance of municipal COVID regulations. “We’ll shut them down. We’ll ticket them,” Peterson said in an interview on radio station KWNO. “We’re not going to tolerate these large student gatherings.” The mayor said colleges have been notified to communicate the crackdown through their campus channels.
