MINNEAPOLIS – Mayor Jacob Frey said the release of a police video from a fatal shooting signals the city’s commitment to truth and transparency. The video shows 27 seconds of a high-powered and confused situation. Apparently there are other videos from police body cams that were not being released. Said Police Chief Medaria Arradondo: “We will be strictly limited on what we will be able to share today.” In posting the one video online,  police said: “While the investigation and any subsequent prosecution or appeal are active, other footage is not available to the public and it will not be posted.” The body-cam video that was posted appears to show at least six officers.
