WINONA, Minn. – Merchants Bank has started its 34th annual “10 Days of Giving” food drive, which runs to December 10. Sandra Burke, executive director of Winona Volunterr Services, presented the ceremonial first gift to the food shelf. Last year the campaign collected 272,100 pounds of food. Each dollar donated means two pounds of food. In its first 33 years, more than four million pounds were collected.
