WINONA, Minn. – Merchants Bank, whose annual 10 Days of Giving project has raised 4 million pounds of food over 32 years, has placed donation barrels at businesses citywide. Events for donations have been scheduled too:
> December 1: Lunch from Steak Shop Catering at the Merchants downtown bank.
> This weekend: Loading a school bus with non-perishable food donations, a tailgate party, and a concert whose admission is a non-perishable food item or cash.
> December 10: A fish fry at the Eagles Club.
