WAUWATOSA, Wis. – A gunman opened fire at Mayfair Mall on the Northwest Side of Milwaukee and wounded eight people. Police Chief Barry Weber described the shooter as a white male in his 20s or 30s. Further identification was not immediately available. The shooting was at the Macy’s department store entrance. The man left the mall before police arrived. Police were called to the 197-store mall about 2:50 p.m.
Mayfair Mall. Stores not expected to reopen until Monday.
