WILMINGTON, Del. – Epidemiologist Michael Osterholm, a 1975 Luther College grad, was named by President-elect Joe Biden to his new COVID advisory board. Osterholm has served as an adviser to Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson during the George W. Bush administration. Most recently he has been director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota. He also has been a frequent COVID gust analyst on cable news.
