TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – A 4-year-old English Setter whose home is Pine Island in Minnesota won top honors at the 146th Westminster dog show. She’s Ciara N’ Honeygait Belle. She’s been competing since she was 6-1/2 months old. At Westminster she was named the best of the breed. Twenty-two other English Setters competed. Belle is owned by Van Jacobson and Lee Afdalh of Pine Island and Amanda and Vito Ciaravino of Crete, Illinois

Way to go, Belle. Only six other English Setters have won the sporting dogs division in Westminster’s 146-year history. The last time was 40 years ago.
