CASHTON, Wis. – A LaFarge woman was killed when a horse pulling buggy was startled by a motorcycle and bolted, sending the buggy into the motorcycle’s path. Kim Oium, 54, was ejected from cycle and died. The driver, Joseph Oium, 23, was hurt, but Vernon County deputies said he declined medical treatment. Two juveniles in the buggy were unhurt. The accident was on Sandhill Road 10 miles east of Cashton about 4:30 p.m..
