ELROY, Wis. – A 36-year-old Elroy man died when he lost control of his motorcycle southwest of Elroy about 4 a.m., probably while trying to stop because of something in the road, perhaps a deer, deputies said. Sheriff Brent Oleson did not release the victim’s name immediately. The accident’s cause was surmised from skid marks The accident was at County Road G and Winters Road. around 4 a.m. The victim was dead when deputies arrived.
