ST. PAUL, Minn. – The state Office of Management and Budget made it official, releasing an upbeat state revenue projection in its monthly update. The Office said it expects higher revenue and lower spending for a $641 million budget surplus for the fiscal year. The forecast shows jobs off 184,000 since the pandemic began, but the negative effect wasn’t as severe as earlier projected.
