ALBERT LEA, Minn. — Emergency responders have found no air-borne hydrochloric acid from leaking railroad tak cars at a train wreck on little Goose Lake. Even so, the county emergency management coordinator, Rich Hall, said no threat to the public had been detected. Earlier, Hall urged people living in the area to remain side. He asked gawkers to avoid area of Hawthorne Street and Ulsted Avenue so as not to impede cleanup. The Union Pacific is mobilizing a clean-up team. Meanwhile, a federal investigation team was expected in Albert Lea. A Union Pacific spokesperson said the railroad hadn’t determined what caused the accident.
