HOUSTON, Minn. – The wind was too much when ex-Houston Hurricane hoopster Kelly Beckman first tried hoisting her annual homage to March on the oak at the driveway. “’Twas madness,” she said. The basketballs all blew down. The next day went better. The hoops and hooks held. And the balls stayed through the rest of March Madness.
