ELGIN, Minn. – An Iowa driver was injured but not seriously in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 42 between Elgin and Plainview. Virginia Margaret Thompson, 66, of Osage, was taken 22 miles to a Rochester hospital. Thompson was northbound, heading toward Plainview, when the collision occurred. This was about 11:15 a.m. The other vehicle, headed toward Elgin, was driven by Gary Lee Seuss, 53, of Mazeppa. He was unhurt. He was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. Pavement was dry.
