WINONA, Minn. – Eight years of high hopes, fundraising and construction culminated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony the new YMCA at the east end of Lake Winona. Chief executive Janneke Sobeck called the $22 million project “an incredible community accomplishment,” especially with the added obstacle of the pandemic.
