DALLAS – The outspoken priest James Altman of LaCrosse was invited to offer the morning prayer at the Conservative Political Action Conference ahead of an appearance by former President Donald Trump. His was a message of encouragement for 4,000 right-wing diehards at the conference plus those watched live-streams: Said Altman: “So now and always, let us realize our help is in the name of the Lord, who actually did make heaven and earth, and that’s all the science we need to know. The whole world will come to know we will not be canceled.” Three days before the conference prayer, Altman was relieved of church duties by Bishop William Patrick Callahan in LaCrosse who for months jad taken Altman’s ÷antagonistic taunts and punches.
