ELGIN, Minn. – The pilot killed in a helicopter crash near Elgin, Corey Adcock, was in a fraternity of crop-dusters who traverse the country with the seasons. His base was Victoria, Texas, 30 miles from the Gulf Coast. Victoria, population 60,000, is home of a former military airfield and has a heavy quotient of pilots. Adcock, age 40, was a licensed flight instructor. He also held a Class 1 medical pilot license.
