WINONA, Minn. – A thief who broke into the Perkins restaurant after hours two weeks ago did more than take five muffins. A whole section of bakery goods had to be thrown put because of possible contamination. The muffins themselves were only $20. Police Chief Tom Williams said case remains open until Perkins supplies a tally of the value of all the goods that possibly were contaminated.
