GUTTENBERG, Iowa — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers scheduled a public display on its proposed Lock and Dam 10 mooring cell project near Gutttenberg. Time: 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, at the Guttenberg Public Library. The plan is to build a mooring cell for tow boats and barges awaiting passage through the lock. It’s a dual-purpose project to improve navigation and environmental sustainability, the Corps said.
