RUSHFORD, Minn. – Vernon “Bud” L. Gilbertson, 93, of Rushford, who worked for Standard Oil 21 years and managed the Rushford Municipal Bar for many years. died at the Winona hospital. He was reared in West Salem and Holmen, Wisconsin, and was a graduate of Holmen High School. He had lived in Rushford since 1959. In retirement he worked at Rushford Foods. He was a member of the American Legion, Rushford-Peterson School Board, and Rushford Lions Club.
