WINONA, Minn. – Dennis Harvey Pack, 84, of Winona, whose career was mostly teaching television at Winona State University, died at home. After high school in Utah, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard as an electronics technician. He held a degree in political science and a master’s from the University of Utah and a master’s in radio, television and film from Northwestern University. He was a producer at television station KUED in Salt Lake City and later program manager for the 10-station South Dakota Public Television network. He joined the Winona State faculty in 1978. He served on the university’s Faculty Senate and chaired the Mass Communication Department.
