MILACA, Minn. — Richard A. “Dick” Rasmussen, 73, of Lewiston and later Winona, who loved showing up as Santa at children’s events and nursing homes, died at his daughter’s home in Milaca. He was honored with tne Lewiston Lions Club’s Hometown Hero Award. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. Later farmed near Stockton. He worked for Ken’s Equipment in Lewiston for many years. In recent years Dick worked in the kitchen of the Lewiston High School.
