DUBLIN, Ohio — Gary Lewis Schoening, 73, a Winona State University graduate in biology and chemistry, died peacefully of Parkinson’s Disease. He was a chemist for Ashland Chemical for 38 years. His career took him to Minneapolis; Fords, New Jersey; and finally to Dublin, Ohio. He retired in 2008 as a senior research chemist. He was active as a Boy Scout leader for 50 years and especially enjoyed treks in Ontario wildernesses.
