RED WING, Minn. — Jeanne Marie (Freeberg) Walch, of Red Wing, who held a College of St. Teresa degree in education with an emphasis in math, died at age 83. She started her career teaching at Bryant Junior High in Minneapolis. She followed her husband’s career at Cargill to Delaware, Oregon, Illinois, Kansas and ultimately to retirement in Red Wing.
