WINONA, Minn. — Joy E. Stier, 86, of Winona, who was self-employed as a housekeeper and who also worked at Ecker’s Apple Farm in Centerville, died at Benedictine-St. Anne nursing home. She graduated from Grand Meadow High, where she was active in the band. She lived many years in Bluff Siding in the house she called “the one with the big cottonwood tree.”
