WINONA, Minn. – Lorraine Jane Krenz, 93, of Winona, a remodeler known for her 11-step process to achieve a silky finish on wood, died at home. She put herself through college working in the print shop at Watkins. She graduated from Winona State in education in 1949. She taught in Elgin, Illinois, for three years, then moved back to Winona. Later she worked with her husband in construction and remodeling.
