WINONA, Minn. – Lucy Ann Dunn, 62, of Winona, an obstetrics nurse at the Winona hospital for 20-plus years, died after a three-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was no stranger to cancer. When she was 16 her mother died from pancreatic cancer at age 49. She held her first nursing degree from University of Wisconsin-Platteville and then at Winona State. For the last nine years of her career, she worked in hospice care. She was active in St Mary’s Catholic church in Galesville and was named Person of the Year by the local Knights of Columbus chapter. Her cancer was diagnosed in 2018.
