ONALASKA, Wis. – Randy V. Groth, 62, of Onalaska, who was a Chevrolet-certified master mechanic in Winona and later La Crosse, died unexpectedly. He attended Rochester Technical College for auto mechanics. After 30 years of mechanics, he transitioned to driving truck. Later he was as the counterman for DCA Racing. He was known in racing circles, providing advice to local racers and teams. He was a volunteer first-responder and firefighter in Shelby.
