R.I.P.: Scooter Mahaffey

WINONA, Minn. — Denis Michael “Scooter” Mahaffey, 73, of Winona, a butcher at Turner’s Meat Market for many years, died unexpectedly of a heart attack. He was a graduate Cotter High School. He was in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam period and was a military chef in Germany. He lived many years in Fountain City. Four years ago he moved back to Winona.
