WINONA, Minn. – Wallace J. Burley, 76, of Winona, a manufacturing engineer, died at Gundersen hospital in LaCrosse. He was a Cotter High School graduate .He held a mechanical drafting degree from Dunwoody Industrial Institute.. He also attended Saint Mary’s College. Most of his career was in Fridley, but he retired back to Winona. He taught chess at the Winona Friendship Center. He designed the platform on which the Minnesota City school bell restored.
