WINONA, Minn. –Winona County’s COVID case total climbed by 61 new infections, a record-high for a single day. Fifty-nine of the cases were new, while two were transferred into the county from elsewhere. The county’s new cases were part of a record-shattering 5,454 new cases statewide. Also statewide there were 36 new deaths. In Winona County the death toll was unchanged at 20.
