WINONA, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed a record 71 new cases of COVID-19 in Winona County. The previous single-day record was 61. Altogether since the pandemic begam, the county now has had 1,879 cases. No new deaths were reported in the county. The death total remained at 21. In neighboring Wabasha County, however, a new death was reported.
