RED WING, Minn. — A woman found dead Sunday night in a Red Wing house had been shot 10 times, according to an autopsy. Police had withheld the victim’s name pending the autopsy but now have confirmed that she was 40-year-old Andrea Elizabeth Broyld of Red Wing. The body was found leaning against a couch when police entered the house after an armed stand-off with Broyld’s boyfriend, Darryl Dion Nixon Jr., 41, who had refused to come out. Nixon eventually surrendered. He was jailed for homicide.
