REDWING, Minn. – Redwing police will escalate their campaign for compliance with COVID mask and distancing mandates. In effect, Police Chief Roger Pohlman said: “No more Mr. Good Guy.” Pohlman asked the public to report violators. Police then will ticket the violation, he said. Hitherto, the police envisioned their role not as punitive but as upbeat and educational: “This, dear friend, is why masks are a really, really good idea. Please, pretty please, join the cause. Have a good day.”
