Ganrude: Grow up, own up, turn self in
BETHANY, Minn. —Somebody drove into a cornfield near Bethany, just outside Lewiston, and tore up the crop and dumped a load of old semi-trailer tires. Sheriff Ron Ganrude wants to know who. He posted a Winona Crime Stopper reward for tips, anonymity promised: 507-457-636. The destruction probably was Sunday, Ganrude said. It was senseless, he said: “They probably could have made some money, but no, instead they decided to victimize a hard-working family.”
