LAKE CITY, Minn. – Myron D. White, 63, of Lake City, former executive director of Red Wing Port Authority, died at home. He was president of the Minnesota Port Association. His career was mostly in economic development. In Winona his work included the Garage co-work space, the first in Winona. He also was part of Winona projects for Opportunity Winona, 60 Main, Main Square, Fastenal, Bluff Country Coop, WinCraft, Solvay, BCS, 102 Walnut, Gypsoil and projects in the commercial harbor. He was an ardent bicyclist and organized bike tours that included Tour de Blast up the volcanic Mount St. Helen’s in Washington.
