WINONA, Minn. – The news editor at the Winona Post, Chris Rogers, was named chief editor of the newspaper. At the Post since 2012, Rogers was first a reporter who cultivated beats in public affairs and continued reporting after becoming news editor jn 2012. As editor he succeeds Sarah Squires, who left to be executive director of the North Dakota press association. Post Publisher Patrick Marek, who announced Rogers’ appointment, commended him for investigative reporting that has earned state-level journalism awards. Rogers is a 2011 Luther College grad with an English major. His roots are in Chillicothe, Missouri.
