SHELTON, Conn.  – The maker of Banana Boat sunscreen recalled a scalp spray because it contains tracs of a chemical which can cause cancer with repeated exposure. Edgewell Personal Care, a Connecticut company, said it detected benzene in internal reviews of Banana Boat Hair and Scalp Spray SPF 30. The company directed retailers to remove the spray from shelves. It offered reimburse to customers.
