WINONA, Minn. – A Winona woman was arrested after taking a scissors to stop her husband from leaving their place after a fight, police said. Arrested was Precious Jessica Paetzel, age 25. This was about 1:25 a.m. in the 150 block of East King Street. Both called 911 for help, but police concluded from video cameras that Precious was the primary aggressor. This is what police reported observing on the tapes: The couple had been arguing for days, but it came to a head, both said, when he arrived home from work and became upset that she hadn’t taken their dogs out for a walk. The husband decided to leave for the night and strapped on a backpack. She blocked his exit and pushed him to a couch and took a scissors to cut the straps off the backpack. Neither was injured, although husband complain of pain from being pushed off balance to the couch.
