HASTINGS, Minn. – The tow Colonel locked through Lock and Dam No. 2, marking the beginning of the end of the 2020 Upper Mississippi shipping season. As Colonel moves downriver, it will be the last through locks all the way downriver to St. Louis.  The next locks for Colonel’s passage:

> Lock and Dam No. 3: Redwing

> Lock and Dam No. 4: Alma

> Lock and Dam No. 5:Minneiska

> Lock and Dam No. 5A: Fountain City

> Lock and Dam No. 6: Trempealeau

>Lock and Dam No. 7: Dresbach

The 2020 season opened April 6 with vessel R. Clayton McWhorter locking upriver through Hastings.
