LACROSSE, Wis. – Two men, each with a police record, were booked for murder after being arrested separately overnight in central Wisconsin. Charges against Kham Rattanasack, 41, and Nya Thao, 33, include three counts of first-degree intentional homicide each. Each count carries a life sentence. They also face one count of possession of a firearm in committing a crime. Sheriff Jeff Wolf said that Rattanasack and Thao were at the Romskog Quarry early July 23 when three other men were shot and killed. Wolf said the shootings were over stolen credit card on which $600 had been rung up.
