ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Senate passed a bipartisan bill to exempt businesses and individuals from state taxes on federal Co-Vid relief assistance. The bill has support from Governor Tim Walz and most of the Democratic majority in the Minnesota House. The bill covers payment from the federal Paycheck Protection Program . The bill also covers CoVid related unemployment benefits.
