EITZEN, Minn. – The armed man who fled a rural house as deputies drove up Thursday afternoon remained at large. Anyone spotting Thomas Alvin Monson, 39, should contact police immediately. Don’t attempt contact, said Sheriff Mark Inglett. When Monson disappeared, he had a handgun, the sheriff said. Court record show several felony-level convictions. One conviction was for second-degree assault with a five-year prison sentence.
