WINONA, Minn. – Police thought they were being called to the Target department store on the Far East End for just another shoplifting case. Indeed, the store was accusing a Winona man, Kirk Patrick Peterson, 58, of shoplifting $350 worth of merchandise. But with him was Ann Marie Laehn, 37, of Winona, whom they determined was carrying drugs. She was charged with fifth-degree possession. The call was about 2:20 p.m.
