ROCHESTER, Minn. – Scottish  “Pop Idol” singer Darius Campbell Danesh was found dead at the Berkman Apartments near the Mayo Clinic just before noon. Police said the death was under investigation. There was no reason for the public to be concerned about its safety, police said. Rochester news media were silent about the death, consistent with their usual subservient deference to Mayo Clinic’s policy to shelter patients from public attention.
