LACROSSE, Wis. – A major snowstorm moving through central Iowa will have fringe snow falls Monday evening in southern Minnesota, generally south of Interstate 90. The morning started in the single digits through the Coulee region, forecasters said. The day will warm into the 20s. The rest of the week will have sunshine and trend slightly warmer. The snowfall this past weekend was heaviest at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport – 5.3 inches. Accumulations farther south were mostly two to five inches.
