ST. PAUL, Minn. —Governor Tim Wala will announce Wednesday that in-person services, like bars and restaurants, must remain closed through the holidays. The advance word came from numerous Capitol sources. The governor is concerned that a spike in COVID cases could overwhelm Minnesota hospitals. Sources said also that Walz sees data that suggests elementary-school classroom instruction can be resumed.
